Contact name not displaying on text

When I get a text from a select few the phone number will display but the name does not. Has anyone experienced this? I have change the contact name to see if the edit will make it work. I have turned my phone off and on with No resolution

Contact name disappears when called or text When I receive or send a text to a number I have not contacted recently the contact will disappear after the text is sent. It only happens to contacts that have been added to this phone, not once that have been transferred over from past phones.
