Spacebar double space (Macbook Pro 2018)

Talk about serious head game, bro.

I am having the same issue. I thought Apple was supposed to have fixed these issues with their overpriced computers.

Same problem. I waited until 2018 to buy a Macbook Pro with the "new" keyboard. What a disappointment.

And I write professionally, so it's a real business problem now for me.

My Macbook Pro 2018 has this problem. Sometimes it's worse then other times but it is so frustrating.

Update: After having received a faulty replacement unit (same issue), I have lost trust and I am going to return the machine...very disappointing as I am now kinda forced to buy a Windows machine.

I returned my MacBook and bought the exact same again and until now - cross fingers - all is good.

I find it ridiculous that they would be keeping your new device for weeks. They should just be doing exchanges.

THIS FIXED MINE TOO! easy installation, i set it to aggressive mode so it prevents the double/triple trigger. YESSSSS thank you!!

The double spacing with the periods "." is a super easy fix. When i first got my mac book I couldn't understand but if you google it you can go into settings and fix it

I don't get it. Are you talking about the "Add full stop with double-space" option in Settings>Keyboard>Text? I always have it disabled. If you're talking about something else, please explain.

Did the new Macbook Pro have similar issues?
