files not appearing immediately

After updating to Mojave 10.14.1, files and folders are not appearing immediately in finder bar, it takes minimum 2-3 minutes, never had this kind of problem.......

Mojave 10.14.4 issue : newly created files not displayed After upgrading my 2015 MacBook Pro to Mojave 10.14.4 I repeatedly find that newly created files are not displayed in Finder and/or on Desktop. Once I reboot the MacBook these very same files appear where and the way they should, i.e. they were present and only not being displayed before. Newly saved files not showing in Finder or folder Hi there, I have an issue with Finder. It started a month ago I think. Every time I generate a file or save it, it doesn't matter the software or browser, the file doesn't show in the target folder. I know it is there because if I want to save it one more time, the software asks me if I want to replace it. Also, if I search with Spotlight I am able to find it and open it. It doesn't show in Recent files as well. I tried to run Disk First Aid as discussed in another post but no fix. The disk is ok. I doubt this is happening since the last Mojavee update. Right now I have version 10.14.5 I noticed that if I restart the my Macbook pro or force stop Finder it will show back the file or files that previously wasn't visible. Do you know what is causing this problem? Thanks, Nick

Unable to locate files using Finder I recently updated my desktop to macOS Mojave version 10.14.5. Since then the Finder feature has been slow at locating files and also does not show all files searched. When I then recreate the file and save, it states a file by that name already exists. It is driving me crazy! As is the slowness of the search. The day before I did the update, my desktop worked perfectly. I have read other threads: tried relaunching Finder with no luck. What can I do about this? Thanks.
