Plugins not showing up on Garageband?

The plugins installed correctly because they're showing up in audacity, but the only option under the "Audio Units" tab are the stock Apple ones. I have Garageband 10, and OS 10.14 Mojave on a 2012 MacBook Pro

A lot of the tutorials online are telling me to delete files like com.apple.audio.InfoHelper.plist and com.apple.audiounits.sandboxed.cache, but I don't have any of those files.

Any idea what's going on?

Garageband for Mac Sound Packs are Broken I just recently got a macbook air for music production through garageband. After playing around with it and getting used to the interface, I couldn't help but notice that all of my sound packs in the apple loops tab are incomplete. Chromium Fray specifically only lists 116 loops when opened, but it is supposed to have over 300. I decided to dig deeper and look into the files through finder. When I opened Garageband/contents/resources/appleloopsindex, I discovered all of the sound packs' folders that indeed had the right amount of items within them. All of the loops that are listed also seem to be loosely related to percussion. Why does my macbook have all of the apple loops installed and isnt listing them in garageband?

Upgraded from High Sierra to Monterrey- everything functions well except cannot open Garageband Upgraded from High Sierra to Monterrey- everything functions well except cannot open Garageband- a GB page opens stating "GARAGEBAND UPDATING INFORMATION ABOUT AUDIO PLUGINS"-For a while it asked about a few plugins, but before the update of plugins is completed. GB quits- I tried deleting quite a fes plugins thinks that perhaps the problem is I have too many- that does not work. Please help ( iMac-2017) Thanks

Audio Units Preference missing garageband 11 - Mojave 10.14.6 Under Preferences > Audio/Midi I see no option to enable Audio Units This is what I should see: This is what I do see - the option is missing: System Details: Garageband 11 version 6.0.5 Mojave 10.14.6 Ultimately I am trying to use a plugin, but I can't get the plugin to show up under my instruments without enabling this option from what I understand
