iPhone 7 Plus speaker issues

Hi!

I have a 7 plus & today during a call I couldn’t hear the person on the other end and they couldn’t hear me. I hung up & tried to make a call & I could but still no sound & speaker was not an option as it went dark. I can hear my voicemail & videos, just doesn’t work on calls or FaceTim. i have updated to iOS 12.1. Any help her would be greatly appreciate! 🤗

iPhone 7 speaker/phone calls not working The other day while I was on a call, the speaker made a really loud noise in my ear and stopped working. Now any time I try to call someone or receive someone's calls they can't hear me and I can't hear them. My phone will also not allow me to call anyone on speakerphone. It also won't allow me to listen to voicemails. Any advice on why this is happening or what to do? Cannot hear caller I have purchased two iPhone 7s and am experiencing the same problem with both. When calling, I cannot hear the caller and the caller cannot hear me. It is not on Mute, and the Speaker icon is greyed our completely. Please help me troubleshoot so I don’t have to return a second time.

This is my 2nd iPhone 12 Pro and I am same issues. When so answer the phone there is no volume sndI can not hear anything so Ihave to press speaker. My voice isn’t heard when I am on audio phone only when on speaker. This is my 2 nd iPhone 12 max and having same problems. When a call comes in and I answer it there is no sound and I have to go to speaker to hear. They can not hear me or me them when on phone audio. That’s why they sent me phone .#2. Can’t think it is phone at fault. No earpiece sound. Any ideas?

If still unresolved, then your device will need to be serviced as it likely has a hardware failure.

I fixed this issue by going General->Reset->Reset Network Settings just in case anyone else has the same problem!

The previous post resolution only worked for a few hours. I had to factory reset my phone and restore from iCloud, but problem is resolved for now.
