Touchbar Function keys with modifiers don't work?

Running a Macbook Pro 2018, 10.14.1 I want to use the shortcut assigned to Shift-F6. I realised that the modifiers do not apply to the function keys.

How can I press Shift-F6?

Thanks,

Adam

Hello jameson.h,

Thank you for taking the time to look into my question. I know how to access the function key row. My need is to press F6 while holding the Shift key.

A shortcut in PyCharm is Shift-F6 however the Macbook only pickups on me pressing F6, which is a different shortcut, even though I am holding Shift. I worry this may be a bug and not a setting.

Thanks,
