If you have a casio keyboard and you are trying to connect it, don't use USB! Mac users will not have ANY

luck😟. Just use a headphone converter jack and plug it into the headphone out port on your keyboard, then

plug in the smaller end into the mic in port on your mac. Now make sure your microphone is set to line out and play away!

Issues with third party keyboard I'm trying to use a third-party mechanical keyboard with my 2017 MacBook Pro, however the computer registers multiple inputs with some key presses e.g. the number 5 registers as 5a or a5. I've looked around and most resources say this should be plug and play.

My mac's mic is broken. Hi. I got a 2012 15 inch Macbook Pro over 2020 Christmas as a hand-me-down. It was working fine other than the fact that we had to replace the hard drive 3 times for reasons I do not know. Anyways, a few months after we fixed the hard drive the final time the microphone stopped working. I've tried everything from using an external mic I bought and plugging it in to the second jack port to attempting to use the mic on my headphones through the headphone port but nothing works. When I plug the external mic to the second port the sound bar in system preferences jumps like I was speaking. If anyone can help me solve this problem that would be great. I've looked it up countless times and I can't find anything. It may be a hardware problem and I don't have a problem with taking it to the shop to get it fixed when I can. Thank you.
