Airwindows plugins installing

Hello!

So, I downloaded some plugins that are in airwindows.com and then I copy the ".component" file into my plugin directory ( /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/ ), but even doing it Garageband don't recognizes this plugins. What do I have to do to fix it?

Plugins not being recognized by Logic X I can't add plugins to Logic X by placing the AU/VST into their respective folders anymore. I am trying to add some new plugins for Logic X (specifically from Airwindows) by manually putting the Audio Unit directly into the Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components folder. I am aware there is more than one folder called this, but this is the one where all of my other AU are and where I used to be able to add new AU. I have tried clearing the audio unit cache to force a rescan by Logic. Logic doesn't even see them to scan them. So obviously, they don't show up in plugin manager either. Strange enough, they do appear and work in Garageband, so the plugins do work. Logic X just refuses to acknowledge them. As a test, I downloaded some other free plugins that had installers (a valhalla reverb and something else), and after the installation, their AU components were in the proper folder, and Logic X was able to see and scan them. I manually drop a different AU into the folder, nothing. Any ideas how to get this resolved? Thanks!

Plugins not showing up I recently upgraded from GarageBand to Logic. My problem I have no idea where to find plugins. I assumed they would be in the same place as in GarageBand (in the bottom left of the track menu next to the instrument settings, as shown below). Any help would be great, thanks.

Captain Plugins with GarageBand I had the same question about using Captain Plugins with GarageBand on macOS as mentioned in this 2021 discussion: Captain Plug-ins - Apple Community After installing Captain Plugins, I got this to work by copying the Captain Plugins folder from Library/Application Support/ to Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/ and then starting GarageBand.

The same thing happens here, I believe airwindows plugins have a bug on mojave.
