My new iPad is stuck on "Waiting for approval...", telling me "Go to one of your other devices signed into iCloud to approve this iPad"

Keeps asking me to go to one of your other devices signed into iCloud to approve this ipad.

I go into icloud on my iPhone and i see the iPad.

I have Two factor authentication on on both the iPhone and the iPad.

The iPhone doesn't seem to have a place where to approve the ipad. I also taped on the "Get Verification Code" on the iPhone, but the iPad is still in waiting mode and doesn't have a spot to enter the Code.

Thanks. That's what I ended up doing today.

The solution was super easy: at the bottom of the screen there was a button to reset the encrypted data if you couldn't approve the device. That's what we did and it resolved the problem (I wasn't using the Keychain feature anyways).

Thank you.

I really know how 2-factor authentication works, and I have that feature on in both devices.

However, the new iPad spins in "Waiting for approval...".

I clicked on the "Get Verification Code" on the iPhone and the iPhone created a code, but the iPad is still in waiting for approval mode and doesn't have a place to enter that Code.
