Weird noise that causes a delay in my logic projects, anybody know what's up with that?
I bought a MacBook Pro (13-inch) a couple of month ago, specifically because I need to use logic. When i first downloaded logic, everything was running smoothly for about thirty minutes before a weird noise appeared, like a raspy, record scratch like noise. After the noise followed a delay, wether I was trying to record when I was playing on my or play what I'd already recorded, the reaction time was off, I pressed a key on my synth and it took a second before any sound was registered in logic. The delay slowly got smaller and smaller until everything was back to normal and then the same thing would happen over and over again with a few minutes between every noise.
After downloading logic and having this problem in logic, the same noise started appearing in different functions on my computer like in spotify or when watching youtube, causing a glitch like effect where it was impossible to watch or listen to anything because for every new outgoing sound from my computer there was also a delay disturbing the following sound and so on. With videos of this happening, I took the computer back to the store where I bought it and they immediately replaced it with a new one. I brought the new computer home, downloaded logic, and thirty minutes into it I was back with the weird noise and delay.
When having my computer plugged into a soundboard, I so far haven't had any problem with this noise but I still don't get how other computer functions are affected by this and it's keeping me from doing anything on my computer without access to a soundboard which I can't always guarantee. I may also add that the other computer functions have been affected while logic hasn't been turned on. Does anyone have an idea for what this could be and/or how I could solve it?
