Possible Defects on New Iphone XR

Bought iphone XR Coral from Walmart yesterday. Immediately out of the box, noticed a mark on the bottom left of metal frame as shown below. Appears to be scratches, or possibly residuals of adhesives. Wondering if anyone else from the community experienced similar defects/imperfections? And how did you deal with it?

Seems strange to me, because usually Apple is pretty attentive to the details of unboxing experience. Felt bad about what I saw on a brand new iphone.

Please advise, really appreciate it.
