How do we add more or change colours in Numbers budget pie chart?

The pie chart for the monthly budget template in Numbers only has 6 different colours (and very similar ones). How do we modify some colours, or add colours if we have more than 6 categories?

Hi zacharie,

Tested in Numbers for Mac. I don't have iOS to test this.

Click on the Pie Chart, then click on a wedge.

User uploaded file

Format Panel > Style > Fill > Color Fill > click on the "Rainbow Wheel" to bring up the Colors Window.

User uploaded file

Click on a colour (color).

If the wedge colour does not change, drag a colour to that wedge.

Regards,

Ian.

Hello - I too am looking to change the colors of my pie chart, but in your screen shot it says" Chart Wedges Style", mine says "Chart Wedges Arrange" am I missing something? I am a total newbie, so any child steps will help. Ultimately, I am trying to get the colors to match the medal. Thanks in advance.

Click on the Pie Chart, then click on a wedge.

Click on the Pie Chart:

You will see tabs for Chart, Wedges, Arrange

Now click on a wedge:

Now click on the Style tab

Tested in Numbers for Mac version 5.3

You screen may show differently in iOS.

Regards,

Ian.
