Numbers Chart Colors- Individual Customization

How do I change the individual bar color in a Numbers chart? It seems as though I can't which would be quite ridiculous.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

Select the chart (i.e., click on it)

Select a series on the chart

On the sidebar on the right side of the window choose the 'Style" tab

The settings are there.
