Is it safe to use an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner on an Apple Watch?

Will using an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner (home model or professional unit) on an Apple Watch (particularly an Apple Watch Series 4 black stainless steel with cellular)? Will use of such damage the Watch (including its internal components) or affect normal operation at all? Will it damage the oleophobic coatings on the sapphire crystal face (or the glass face on other models)? Will it damage the coatings, finishes, or treatments used on the case or straps (Milanese loop, leather loop, silicone band, nylon sport band)?

The second paragraph in Cleaning your Apple Watch - Apple Support says
