my iPad keeps asking for an old Apple id. What to do?
If you are saying that the iPad is Activation Locked and you can’t unlock it because you don’t know your old ID and password, you can try to recover them. Is that what you are saying?

Old id wanted on iPad
It is asking for your old ID because there is an app or apps on the iPad that is/are tied to your old ID. If you delete that app or those apps, the problem should go away.

Where are you at in the phone when it's asking for the old Apple I'd? When you use an Apple I'd if you don't sign out of all the places you use it it will continue to ask for it until you sign out. So open settings app click I message then send and receive if I shows the old Apple I'd sign out. Then settings app click face time look for the same thing. Then settings app click iTunes and app store and look for the same thing. Then settings app click your name and look at the email address that's the Apple I'd your logged into. Do all this and if they are all the same Apple I'd it will not ask for old one anymore.
