Hello everybody.

I have a big problem. I want to sell my Mac mini Late 2014 and I try to reinstall operating system. Installing stop every time same place, even it's Yosemite or Mojave (Photo)

First I look guide in Apple official site (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204904) and do 100% what the guide say, not working. Then I try to every format option what disk utility can offer. And I also try every other options too in disk utility. I also try 3 different hard drive and always results are the same, not install.

1 Same hard drive which has been last 2 years on the same computer. Samsung 840 SSD.

2 Original hard drive, almost new.

3 Totally new hard drive.

Then I try to return Time Machine backup, and it's go fine on every 3 different hard drives. And that backup is also different computer (Macbook Pro 2018)

So I have no idea what I can do next.

I would be very grateful if someone can help me.

Thank you everyone.

To reinstall the OS that your Mac shipped with you need to boot into Internet Recovery using Shift+Command+Option+R if you have installed macOS 10.12.4 or above.

If you have installed High Sierra or above, it's possible your drive is still formatted as APFS. You need to select the drive and Erase it so you can reformat it as Mac OS Extended (Journaled) with the GUID partition map scheme. Also, you might want to label your drive as Macintosh HD.

While you're in Internet Recovery open Disk Utility and change the View to Show All Devices. Then select the disk drive - not anything underneath the drive - and click Erase to reformat and label it.
