Software challenges

Mac Version is OS X Yosemite 10.10.5

iPhone Version is iOS12.1


When I connect my iPhone to my Mac to sync via iTunes - I get the follow error message: "To use your iPhone with iTunes, you need to install OS X 10.11.4 (or later)." YET - my Mac declares that all software is up to date.


So unable to sync, backup my iPhone.


Please advise

Hi,

If your Mac is upgradable to El Capitan, download El Capitan from following site and install it.
