text and emails going to two phones
I have an Iphone 7 and my wife has an Iphone 6+. We both get each others text and emails. this has to be in setup but I cannot figure it out.

I understand you and your wife are receiving the same texts and emails on your two iPhones. This can happen if you are using the same Apple ID account. If that is the case, one of you should create your own independent Apple ID to keep your data separate. If you do not share the same Apple ID, then look at the email addresses and phone numbers in the Messages app settings and delete any that are common to both of you. Also, be sure to update your iPhones to the most recent iOS.
Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Create and start using an Apple ID
If you wish to share your iTunes Store, App purchases, etc. - you can set up Family Sharing
Add or remove your phone number in Messages or FaceTime
