If you are seeing the error that your account has been disabled in the App Store and in iTunes, it looks like you will need to Contact Apple Support according to this article: If you see a message that says 'Your account has been disabled in the App Store and iTunes’

Itunes support were very unhelpful and said that it would take a month to issue a new password. My mom is having the same problem. We tried your fix at the start of the thread and it does.not.work. her password is working fine, but she keeps getting this message and cannot access things like tou tube, etc from her ipad OR iphone.

One of the reasons for your App Store and iTunes account to be disabled is a chargeback from your iTunes linked credit card. If you dispute a charge for an app directly with your credit card company, Apple will disable your App Store and iTunes account automatically once they receive the chargeback notification from your credit card company.

Apparently, the "correct" process to avoid this scenario is for you to dispute a charge for an app through Apple Support, instead of your bank.

However, if you do end up in this scenario, as others have posted, Apple Support is able to restore your account relatively quickly after you reach out to them.
