Hi,
I have 2 iMacs and I have my calendars showing on the newest iMac.
When I turn off iCloud in my new iMac I loose the calendars created on my old iMac.
Is there a way of keeping my calendars permanently on my new iMac without having to select calendar in iCloud settings?

See if this helps. After exporting the Calendar and turning off iCloud, try Calendar/File/Import.

I tried that. The only problem, which I understand now, is that once imported if iCloud is turned on again it deletes the imported calendars and sets up iCloud again and possibly overwrites with what is on iCloud and not the Mac and I'm not confident that the events are correct.
I noticed some were duplicated?
You are welcome. Based on what I have read, what you saw does happen sometimes when you stop syncing and then start syncing again. I have not seen a 100% effective way to prevent that posted anywhere.
