iCloud and Outlook 2019 profile issue

My PC was updated to Outlook 2019 and since that happened I'm having connection problems with iCloud, which is a real problem because I need to be able to view my schedule wherever I happen to be, the reminders are a life saver for me very often. iCloud doesn't appear to recognise the profile for Outlook for some reason and complains whenever I try with this message "Setup can't continue because Outlook isn't configured to have a default profile. Check your Outlook settings and try again.", the fact that Outlook is running perfectly happily and using the profile it was given doesn't seem to affect the iCloud installation at all, despite repeat reinstallation of iCloud which does nothing to alleviate the problem when the "Mail, Contacts, Calendars and Tasks with Outlook" is checked.

I had the same problem and fixed it this morning. I went to Control Panel and uninstalled (removed) iCloud for Windows. I downloaded a fresh copy and installed that. The error message is gone and my calendar and contacts are now available to Outlook 2019.
