I hate all those arbitrary Photos divisions so how do I just see ALL photos?

I want to organize my own photos in a way that works for me and my iPhone and ipad keep (it seems) arbitrarily showing me photos organized into years albums whatever. And I can't get back to just seeing them all chronologically or I. Folders of my own devising. How do I get Apple's big fat thumb off my photos?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

Organizing photos In my photo's app, I would like to be able view all my photos that have not yet been added to an album. How can I do that? I saw in a past discussion that you would go to "File", "New Smart Album", then "Photo", "is not", "any". However, on mine there isn't an option for "any". ??

Deleting photos I organized my pics into an album but I now want to get it off the regular photos area . That was the whole idea. How do I make that happen?

If you want your own albums, then you can create them on the iOS device:

Organize and find your photos - Apple Support

The Photos view is organized into chronological order. The Moments view there is by date.

You are asking in the wrong forum. This is for Mac, not iPad or iPhone.

You should already know that level 2 and higher can report topics for relocation.
