Change Autocorrect in Mojave

I have an iMac, with OS Mojave 10.14.1 I want to make Autocorrect work to UK grammar. It is set to US grammar and I can't work out how to change it. All advice I have seen refers to changes in Lion and talks about the 'language and text' section in system preferences. This is now 'Language and Region' button and I can't find a text area.

All I want is to be able to type and have the auto correct make changes into UK English not US English.

Can anyone tell me what I need to do?

Go to system preferences/keyboard/text/spelling and make sure that it is set to UK english (and not Automatic). Also inside the app, go to Edit > Spelling and Grammar > Show Spelling and Grammar and set the dictionary to UK english and not automatic.
