Activity Badges are to 2 days late or more

Since, the last update (12.1) on my phone and (5.1.1) on my watch, all of my badges have been 2 or more days late to showing up on my phone. This began on Veteran's Day with that special challenge badge. I received the award on my watch, but it never appeared on my phone. I was fine with that because I had heard that those can take up to 9 days to show up. However, now all my move, stand and exercise awards are no longer showing up after I complete them. I have always received my "longest move streak" award immediately after achieving my 3 goals.

I have re-paired my watch, reset my phone to no avail. I've spoken to apple 3 times, but still no fix. I thought I had found the fix by setting my calendar 2 days ahead. That did force my badges to show up, but once I fixed the date to the correct one, the badges continue to come 2 days late again.

It seems like there are some users out there who are still getting their badges right away. (Not special badges) I hope someone has found a fix for this. It was motivating to receive the move awards as you achieved them, not 2 days later. And, that's how it was before the update, so what happened?

Yes...I wrote that in my initial question. And I think they are referring to special challenge badges because they haven't always shown up immediately.

I am referring to move, stand and exercise goal awards for each day. Those always showed up immediately and since the update, they have not. This messes with end of month awards too.
