Hello, I am new to Mac. Switched my ecosystem to iOS a year ago with iPad and iPhone and recently switched to new Mac Mini.
I am using a Rosewill RK-9100BR mechanical keyboard.
Understand that the Windows key is CMD and the ALT key is Options.
However, I can't seem to delete files using CMD + Delete.
How do I go to the start of the sentence? Pressing Home button will not do anymore while CMD + Home goes to Homepage.
Mac mini (2018), iOS 12.1
What Microsoft site explained is the same as the Apple shortcut website you posted.
Basically, I have most shortcuts working, just some are not working. I have enquired from Rosewill and they are not sure as mine is an old Mech keyboard that is no longer in production.
I said I do know that Alt is the option key and Windows is the Command key.

Oddly enough I only know the shortcuts that work on Macs with Mac keyboards. If Microsoft's site doesn't explain well enough perhaps the vendor of your Rosewill RK-9100BR keyboard can help.
You're welcome. As to your specific shortcuts, "Command Delete" would be "Control Backspace" on a Windows keyboard. If that's not working then there's no telling how the Rosewill is mapped.
