How do I delete the so called "Holidays" from my iCal Calendar?

Seems that Black Friday is now a National Holiday according to my Apple calendar. Not for me, along with several "holidays" that I've never heard of. Since I am the owner and user of my iMac I think that makes me the administrator. Since iCal says that only the administrator can edit Holidays either I am not the Administrator or the Help menu for iCal is completely wrong. Can anyone tell what is up?

Interesting, as the US Holiday calendar on my iPhone does not have Black Friday as a holiday. That aside, since the US Holiday calendar is a subscribed calendar, you cannot edit that calendar. You can edit your own iCal, but not a subscribed one. If the one you currently have does not meet your needs, you can unsubscribe, and subscribe to one that better meets your needs, or create your own.
