FCP 10.4.4 not compatible with MacOS Mojave 10.14

Recently I updated my MacOS from High Sierra 10.13.6 to Mojave 10.14 and older version of FCP 10.4 to FCP 10.4.4. Now, FCP is giving me trouble. it closes down itself everytime i try to import the files. here is my system configuration:

Same happened with my MacBook Pro also.

I did upgrade both the OS and FCP X and the same problem started to show up like in my desktop. I haven't been able to figure it out. my work is hampered a lot. Please help.

Start by deleting preferences. To delete preferences, hold down command and option while starting FCP X and click Delete Preferences.

This does not delete any of your media.

You will have to open the library you were working on.

If deleting preferences does not fix things drag the application to the trash, go to the App Store and download a fresh copy from the Purchased section.

If none of the above works you have something installed on your mac that is interfering. Please run Etrecheck and post its report here so we can have a look. And do not run any antivirus or so called cleaners - they cause all sorts of trouble.
