Photos importing unsupported file type

I'm importing my photo from Huawei P20 Pro to Photos and facing cannot import 2 items and didn't show file name, which I do not know which file is not supported, appreciate apple can help me to find out what going on as I'm stuck over here.

These items cannot be added to your Photo library because the file format is not supported by Photos. When I try to open photos from an External Hard Drive, I receive this message from iPhoto: These items cannot be added to your Photo library because the file format is not supported by Photos. The files were previously stored in iPhoto and most of them were captured with an iPhone. Any help is appreciated!

importing photos I have been trying to import my newest photos from my iPhone to my Mac, but they won't import. I get an error message that says "Some items cannot be added to your Photo library because they may be an unrecognizable file format or the file may not contain valid data". It also gives me a list of the file names which each start with "(null)" and then the reason being "The operation couldn't be completed..."

Try to import with Images Capture to a folder on your Mac. Then you can hopefully see the filenames and file formats.
