Facebook won't scroll on iphone 8

We have an iphone 8. Around mid November 2018 it would stop scrolling the newsfeed, or only show 2 or 3 posts. I've rebooted the phone and reinstalled Facebook but the problem continues. Sometimes it works normally then the problem starts again.

iPhone 8, iOS 12.1
