print a list of all apps on iphone 8 ios 12.1

For some reason Apple no longer allows users to connect their iPhone to iTunes and manipulate the apps via a grown-up PC keyboard - I think you now can only do this on the iPhone screen.

An alternative would be to be able to offload a file containing all of the app names in a file format that could be manipulated on a PC, i.e. .csv. I've poked around this community and google with no luck. Does anyone know how to do such a thing?

Currently such an option does not exist. You can go to the App Store, select your profile picture in the top right, then select Purchases and you can see everything that you have previously purchased. If you are looking to just get a list of what's on your iPhone now then you can submit feedback to Apple as something you would be interested in seeing in a future iOS release.
