Boot Camp (Mojave) "The startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition" error.
iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017)
3.5 GHz Intel Core i5
40 GB 2400 MHz DDR4
500 GB Flash Storage
Mojave 10.14.1
I'm having this problem like many other people. I've done quite a bit of searching online but can't seem to find a solution. Any help in resolving would be amazing, thank you in advance.
Trying to setup Windows Home 10 on my iMac using Boot Camp Assistant. I've gone through all the troubleshooting solutions I can find online including backing up my hard drive, erasing, partitioning, etc. Tried several times and no luck.
Keep getting the error even though in disk utility it seems that the partitions have been created. I've deleted them and tried again a few times. Not sure what to do next?
I do not want to reformat my whole hard drive to Mac OS Extended. I want to keep it APFS and get boot camp working with it. I have seen this done already and my understanding is its supposed to work. So how would I accomplish that?
Thanks in advance...
Sam
