Read that this problem may relate to my house key settings. I don’t use a mouse. I can’t seem to find a solution. Tried toggling the alt option key five times and that didn’t solve it. HELP PLEASE.

some keys have suddenly stopped responding and i dont know what to do! help help! ever since i updated my macbook some keys have stopped working. specifically the delete key and the arrow keys. when i press backspace it doesnt even respond and when i want to scroll down the arrow keys do work but for example i end up seeing the end of the page i was viewing. i have searched possible solutions but nothing works and im lost!!

What kind of MacBook Pro do you have? Is it one with a butterfly keyboard?

Those keys plus a few more are used for an embedded numeric keypad on Macs that do not have a separate numeric keypad.

Check carefully in Accessibility to make sure you have not activated features like "mouse keys".
