Has anyone moved to the Phonak Marvel and is able to converse via the phone connectoon with an iphone XS? Thanks.

Hello Jean Louis ! Could you explain more how you did the pairing ? I went to my audiologist this morning to upgrade the 6.0.2 version on my Marvel. It worked for 35 mn and suddenly my contact couldn’t ear me like before. I am getting crazy.

Nearly tempted to bring everything back and stop the experience...

For the record I am otherwise also pleased with the Marvels. I think they will serve me well. I do hope Sonova is working on an Apple Watch app as that would make adjusting volume settings so convenient.

OK, I don't really know what you mean by "reconnecting and resetting iPhone network settings." I've done all the other things you say to do. I actually think the reinstall is working for the most part; it's certainly much better than it was.

How would I know if I have the latest firmware update?

How would I reset iPhone network settings? Bluetooth is on, R is connected, the other two (the other R and the L) are not, which is what Phonak said it should look like. I think I'm going to see how things go over the next few days.

Well, they've reverted to defaulting to Bluetooth again after a half day of working just fine. Do you suppose the app is saying "bluetooth streaming" but the hearing aids are actually working, using Autosense?

Let me add that it would be appreciated if with the firmware modification Phonak includes the appleWatch app.

Lucky you! The patch has not reached France yet! The US seems closer to Switzerland . If and when we finally get it I’ll advise...

I have Marvel Audeo, a Xs max and an Apple Watch 4 and I don’t get that issue.

I did. I have Phonak Marvel rechargeable and I can converse on phone using iPhone XS. It does NOT, however, work in both ears using the aids for the calls, my Right hearing aid is where the call is and where the mic is, left is set to control the volume.

That being said, I did do a compatibility check with Phonak and the iPhone XS has some issues with intermittently dropping calls and streaming. I also cannot stream music, etc to both ears. It may be setting that my audiologist will have to address since they SHOULD stream music etc to both ears from iPhone XS, only calls will be in one ear.

very happy with the HA...but 2 problems

-streaming and calls with my XS iPhone not working. Awaiting update on firmware ...Phonak app not up to expectations and sales talk !

-battery drain excessive on Left HA ( end od day 15% less than the one on right HA)

Odd that my XS did not improve after the firmware upgrade. I have sent Phonak an email but I plan to talk to my audiologist at my next appointment in approx. 10 days as she can have talk directly with Phonak.

I went to Settings - General - Accessibility - Call audio Routing and selected bluetooth headset so it always defaults to answering with the hearing aids but it's ironic I currently need to manually switch to iPhone as soon as my ongoing phone call connectivity issue appears.

I only use the app for volume control too. the difference in programs seems very subtle and not worth the effort to manually change, mostly just changing the volume helps enough, for example, with wind noise.

I have an XS, Series 4 watch, and Audeos, and they all play well together since I got the latest firmware update. I personally do not many want notifications playing in my hearing aids, and since I wear the watch all the time except while it is charging, I went into the watch app and chose custom for a particular notification, and then turned sound off for that notification, more or less what Phonak seems to have suggested. My watch vibrates but no audible notification is sent from iPhone to the aids for those notifications that I turned sound off.

My Audeo Marvels are stable, the do not change programs on their own.
