IPod nano - cannot restore

Hi. I am having thisg problem for the first time in last one year. Suddenly my ipod screen shows "Use itunes to restore" in several languages.
But I am unable to restore it or to do anything with it. My computer does not recognise the ipod.
Please help. It has not even been frozen for one day and I am already missing it badly 😟

I'm having somewhat same problems....

I am getting the pic of the folder on my ipod. I have tried everything on the support page and nothing has worked. When i plug into computer, it connects and i get some time to try and restore it but it won't. It first tells me that it can't sync to my computer cause the required folder cannot be found, then it tell me it could not be restored because an unknown error has occured(1415). Then it just disconnects itself from itunes and no longer even recognized in my computer but still telling me "do no disconnect"....

I am now getting this message...
"iTunes has detected an iPod that appears to be corrupted. You may need to restore this iPod before it can be used with iTunes. You may also try disconnecting and reconnecting the iPod"

Which it won't restore...

And right now with my ipod connected... it keeps beeping and somewhat connecting and disconnecting to iTunes giving me that above message...

All it does is sit here and beep at me saying do not disconnect
