Can I delete a single frame easily?

Is there any way to simply delete a single frame without having to invoke the crop markers?

In Quicktime player, it's so simple to select a single frame or a few frames using the arrow+shift keys. Is there any simple way tot od this in iMovie?

I have one single frame I want to cut out but being on tnat frame the Edit Cut menue is greayed out. I just wanna cut one frame here and there simply. It's a pain to always have to invoke the crop markers just to edit out one or two frames.
