Since I upgraded my songs to the new format, every time I open up iTunes (7.2), it asks me to enter my password. It's never done that before. What's it doing, and how can I turn that off?
I'm having the same trouble. Every time I launch iTunes 7.2 I'm forced to authenticate via the iTMS dialog box. All of my iTunes Plus d/l's are
finally finished, so my Downloads folder should be empty.
Thank you for that sollution. I have been through several days of emailing with iTMS support, and they could not help me. I have posted a link on the norwegian Mac1 forum to this post. Excelent!
It's the plist file in the Download folder that's the culprit.
I was having the constant password request problem and solved it by deleting the plist file as suggested by echobucket.
Before I deleted it, I opened it with Property List Editor and found that it contained a reference to one of my upgraded songs that had been problematic to download.
It took several days for this particular track to finally download. It did finally download but was left on the to do list in that preference file.
