Downloading podcast error message

I am unable to download any free podcasts. I subscribe successfully, but when I click "Get" a grey exclamation point appears immediately. The error message is "There was a problem downloading "the podcast" . The required folder cannot be found. Please check that the URL is correct and the connection to the network is active and try again."

I get this message everytime I attempt to download something on ITunes. I have disabled the firewall and pop up blockers. Nothing changes -- same error message. I use Mozilla Firefox as a browser.

Any suggestions?

I tried everything that was recommended inside this forum, but nothing helps. Could it be that there is something wrong with the feed at all.

I wanted to subscribe to the following Feed which was possible:
http://podcast.sos-childrensvillages.org/SosChildrensVillagesPodcast
http://www.sos-childrensvillages.org/Podcast/podcast.xml

But now I have the problem that it looks like iTunes downloades the episode but at the end nothing is there. Which means there was no download of the episode and an error accures "iTunes can't read this type of data".

Can somebody help me?
Thanks a lot

Hey folks,
I have had the same problem on and off again. I store all of my music to an external hard drive. If you do this as well, then try unplugging your hard drives USB from your computer, then try downloading your podcast. I just figured out this was my problem and my podcasts are downloading as I'm typing this.

Hope this helps some of you out...
