iPhone 14 Pro battery draining quickly

After installing iOS 17.0.3 on my phone, the battery started to drain rapidly.

My iphone 14 pro max after 1 year use. Battery drain so fast. 2 to 3 time a day to charge. High class, high price but low class battery.. Thanks Apple..

While I was curious to know when 1% battery health is dropped, here I found out: How to Stop Battery Health Drainage of iPhone 14 Pro, that when 25 charge cycles( 100% battery discharge ) are completed then 1 percent battery health is dropped. This means that how we use our iPhone and how quickly the battery charge is drained will impact battery health. I wish if battery health would drop after 100 charge cycles that would have been awesome.

Same…all of the sudden phone doesn’t make it past midafternoon without needing recharging. iPhone 14 Pro. I know I can do things listed to improve battery life but I have those features on for a reason. It’s annoying. I have to carry a battery pack with me now. This is just the last month or so…

prior iOS 17 it was really good

same happened with me too.And now after every update it is degrading more and in 8 months it degraded 100 to 91 💀

I'm glad I have a lot of company. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max and since iOS 17 the battery life is dropping like a lead weight. I can barely get through the day on one charge and I don't use the phone that much. I didn't have this issue previously.

Can relate. My phone just turned two MONTHS(!!!) old. iphone 14 pro max.

It won't charge past 80%.

And since last software update, I am averaging 1-2 calls around 15-30 minutes each, then phone not used, and it is out of battery in afternoon!

What the heck did last update do?!

It is happening to me also. I've purchased this iPhone about one month ago, I come from an iPhone Xs Max, that last me 5 years or so and the battery couldn't handle the time spent on calls, in the middle of the day I had to recharge my cell phone. At first, the 14 Pro Max's battery lasted until the end of the day at about 20%. Now in the middle of the day I'm at about 40% when I was at 60/65%. When I look at it, I saw that what drains the battery the most is calls but in some occasions on days when I have spent little time on the phone, that´s what doesn't make any sense to me. I am very disappointed with this model.

Totally. I haven't even upgraded to ios17 but there was a stark contrast about a month ago as well for my 14pro. Didn't change any settings, all the sudden went from end of day battery being like 20-30% still to now it's dead for sure if I don't charge it in the day. I won't touch it for hours at my desk and it loses 20% plus just sitting there. Very annoying... No always on screen or anything too.

I can't believe, almost 1 year later from having the iPhone 14 Pro the battery capacity was at 98% Since December 2023 it is draining rapidly and nonstop. What is going on? I started taking print screens on 6 January with 96%, 12 January 95%, now today 19 January 94%. It is dying and I am seeing it all! What quality is this???

Same I bought my iPhone 14 Pro on day 1 of June, and last time I check which was like a month ago I was 99% sure I use my phone while charging and don't have auto brightness. But yet my 14 pro went down in one month from 99% to 95% my 12 pro went down to 95% in 8 months. And yet when I still had it in April I was at 87%
