Why is fitness/friends sharing not showing on my watch since update (all friends show 0 activity/steps)?

So I removed my wife from the shared contacts and then added her back and all is well now

Nope! No one has the answers!!! Apple has no idea, I tried the phone and store

I have tried all of the above recommended fixes and none of this has worked! It’s beyond frustrating! Has anyone tried anything else that fixed this problem?

Did anyone figure out the fix to this?

Did you restore your data after using backup?

Had the same issue. I went into the fitness app and removed the person and then sent them a new invite. After they re-accepted I could I see all of their info now.

Did it stay working and sharing data? I've deleted and readded several times and it still refuses to show the data! So annoyed. Part of the fun of Apple Watch is the competitions.

my friends don't show on watch at all but they are on the fitness app on the iPhone. I've done the update on iPhone and watch and unpaired and paired after updates. No luck

i unpaired and then did restore as I didn't want to lose data. It doesn't work so I'll try to unpair and setup new device :(

Try restarting your Apple Watch plus any other device that you have the fitness app on. I’ve just done it and it’s now sharing again.

That won’t work either. Double check that you don’t have focus turned on. Is there a moon at the top of your screen?
