Hello, I bought a brand new MacBook Pro 2.2 Ghz and have an Palm Zire 72.
I have the same Problem (iSync conduti don't appear in the conduit list).
The new OS X Leopard is on the way to me.
Did this solve the Problem, or did I need to replace the iSync conduit?

Thanks.

Hi Michael Lafferty,

I have come across your address upon the trouble regarding: iSync Conduit not visible in HotSync Conduit Manager. Could you please also send me the files?

Mac Book Pro
Serial CX92
OS Mac OS X 10.4.10 (Build??? Where do I find that? - That may be a language problem???)

Thanks very much.

Kind regards,

Welcome to Apple Discussions.

I would advise you NOT to install Mac OS X 10.5 at the present time, as it appears that neither iSync 3 and the iSync Palm Conduit not the Missing Sync for Palm OS work properly. The extent of the problem with iSync is not yet well defined, but is quite apparent. iSync 3 will not synchronize a Palm device at all.

Mark/Space won't have their program ready until possibly mid-January.

The replacement conduit I will send you will work as long as you stick with iSync 2.4 and either Mac OS X 10.4.9 or 10.4.4: it isn't intended to work with earlier releases or with iSync 3.

Do this: send a message to me at the electronic mail address in my profile, and I will reply with a copy of the replacement conduit. Please include the version of Mac OS X you are running, the build number and the last three characters of your eleven character machine serial number.

I will do that but, there is no electronic mail address visible in your Public Profile. So, either add one, or do this: send a message to me at the electronic mail address in my profile, and I will reply with a copy of the replacement conduit.

Please include the version of Mac OS X you are running, the build number and the last three characters of your eleven character machine serial number.

And—once you do install and use the replacement conduit—DON'T actually upgrade to Mac OS X 10.5 until the synchronization issues are resolved!
