Unable to pair with Bluetooth a Nokia N73 mobile phone

It's unable to pair via bluetooth a Nokia N73 mobile phone with the latest firmware installed.

Bluetooth Assistant of Leopard only detects on it only one feature: just to connect to internet.

iSync can't work with this mobile phone also.

This pone was supported on Mac OS X 10.4.9 and 10.4.10, so... it seems that is a problem with the Bluetooth frameworks on Leopard.

Anyone has experienced anything like this?

Same here.
I ran into this problem a few days ago, which I thought I had broken the bluetooth of either macbook or my N73.
I did a full reset of N73, with no luck of getting it back working.

Now I'm syncing the N73 with USB cable, at least it still works.

Running Mac OS 10.5.4 now and still no bluetooth joy. It pairs fine but wont connect when trying to browse or transfer files.

Anybody else think it's ironic that on Nokia's guide for setting up bluetooth on a Mac, the screenshots are taken from an N73?

Just updated my N73, doh! I'm also having the same problems reported here. Wasted 2 hours trying to figure it out. No luck.

@dkirkkam: Didn't know this, but Yes this is very ironic!
We were all happy Mac/N73 users once.
Nothing changed since my last post I see.
I really think in Finland they hate Cupertino, but do they really have to ignore their costumers who are Apple users as well??

i have 2 Nokia N73 and 3 different model of iMac:

with system 10.5.4
firmware 4.0726.2.0.1 work
firmware 4.0812.4.0.1 not work

with system 10.4.11
firmware 4.0726.2.0.1 work
firmware 4.0812.4.0.1 work

the conclusion for me is a leopard bag and i hope that Apple resolves in next software update

How do we complain to apple we want this fixed? It's a pretty bad screwup that the device cannot even pair after an OS upgrade.

Nokia finally fixed the Leopard bluetooth issue. Upgrading to firmware version 4.0839.42.2.1 solves the problems !!

Same here. E65 + MBP Early 2009 doesn't work. But: Pairing works with my older black MacBook without problems. Maybe it depends on the used Bluetooth chip inside the Mac. In my case, the new MBP has the "Broadcom" and the old black MB the "Cambridge Silicon Radio".

Exactly the same problem with my Nokia N70 on new MacBook aluminium.
The BT Setup Assistant completes the pairing sequence, but then sits trying to check the phone for services, only to never complete the sequence.

On my old MacBook white (same OSX version 10.5.6), the same phone is properly detected, and works with iSync and/or internet connection.

Send or receive file does not work too, but it works with other devices.
