"Billing Info" loop

Whenever I try to buy a new song, I'm asked to comfirm billing info. I do, and it's accepted, then I go back to the song I want to buy, and I'm asked to confirm again.

What's going on? Why won't iTunes let me spend my money?!

I was having the "billing loop" issue at one point. It was after an iTunes update and I had not downloaded anything since the update and was unable to "upgrade" some songs to iTunes Plus (got stuck in the loop).

What I did was to put a song into my cart, ask to download it and a new TOS agreement popped up. Once I agreed to that, my billing issues were resolved.

Hope this helps some folks.

I did everything in this blog and I still cannot purchase an iphone app from my phone- it says "your account information has changed. Go to the iTunes Store on your computer and update your Billing Info." The first time I did that it highlighted my expiration date of my card which was 5/09 and said it was expiring soon and I had to change it! It was January 6th! Now I have changed the card number exp date I have done all the updated biling info at my apple and my apple account or whatever (there were two sites listed in here in addition to doing it through itunes) and I clicked on I accept the terms and agreements but still no luck.

Hello, I have been having a similar problem to this "billing loop". Whenever i make a purchase on the itunes store, it will download, however, it will say processing file after downloading and never physically transfer to my library. This problem has cost me almost ten dollars now because it will go to the point where i have to manually shut down my computer because it will freeze the screen to the point where i cannot even open the task manager. If someone could please help me out, i would like to actually be able to buy a song and have it in my library.

I ran into the same problem. From Canada, not using credit card and using itunes cards. If the problem I'm running into in only because a credit card is still needed well then I'm totally disgusted.

Thankfully, I just just bought the ipod and $500 dollars worth of official ipod products to go with it, and I have no problem returning every bit of it and getting my money back.
