Does the new iPhone support MMS??? If no, WHY? This is a normal function that all phones being produced in our world of technology have. I have a original iPhone that I purchased almost a year ago. And when the warrenty is up, I'm just thinking about getting a blackberry. Just because the iPhone does not support normal fetures. What are the pros and cons if I do this? Also, if i chose to go with another type of phone, will I still be able to use the iPod part of the iPhone?

You have to have their @ extension, and their carrier has to support the function of MMS over the SMS extension, which carriers like Alltel do not. Then to receive a message, you have to give them an email address, and then hope that they can input the @ symbol as well. That is all more complicated then putting in a phone number and pressing send.

I use my iPhone for personal and business use - the ability to copy and paste is relative in this regard. Not having copy and paste at the present time does not mean the iPhone isn't designed for business or can't be used for business. I don't have a landline at home so my iPhone is also used in place of a landline, so it depends on your needs and wants. If the iPhone doesn't meet your most important needs or wants, you made a mistake purchasing one. The iPhone is not designed nor intended for everyone. There will likely be additional improvements such as copy and paste, but maybe not. If so important to me, the very last thing I would do is waste my time whining and complaining about what the iPhone doesn't include at a user to user help forum only for technical support issues and questions. I'd let my money do the talking and purchase a device that meets my most important needs and wants.

Other than that, if you want to provide feedback to Apple, use this link instead. This at least ensures that your feedback is forwarded to and read by the appropriate Apple personnel. Providing it here does not.

Nothing wrong with complaining about whatever you want to complain about, but not here - which is complaining to fellow users only. This is a user to user help forum for technical support issues and questions only.

Before purchasing an iPhone, I can count on one hand the number of times I exchanged MMS, so I couldn't care less about MMS. I would like to see cut/copy/paste and the ability to forward an SMS - although not something I need on a regular basis, but it is a complete waste of your time to complain about anything here, which won't accomplish anything.

Use this link instead - but I suggest providing your feedback to Apple in a constructive manner. If the folks who receive the feedback are anything like me, the non-constructive rants, whining, and complaints likely go straight to the garbage, and rightfully so.

If it isn't important for us to discuss, why are you here in this thread, and why are you an Apple apologist? Why not just ignore the issue altogether if you have no stake in whether it is addressed or not? It is a shame that I have to get on my hand and knees and beg Apple to read my feedback, when I am righteously annoyed with features that are offered on ostensibly every other smart phone in existence.

Also, the worst argument ever constructed to a missing feature complaint, is the "I never use it, so you don't need it" argument.

In any case, thank you for the link to the feedback form, I will be writing a lengthy missive to Apple.
