iPhone 2.0 - Error -9838

Folks,

My iBrick is stuck on a -9838 error after attempting to upgrade to 2.0. It states that "we could not complete your itunes store request." Almost the second you plug it in, it states that there is a 9838 error and refuses to go any further. I've heard that the trouble is on Apple's end (a failure to allocate enough bandwidth), but would I be well-served if I just keep trying to re-connect, or is the error in my phone?

Your help is appreciated.

AWESOME!

Although I'm not 100% satisfied that I now have an original iBrick AND an iBrick 3G, I think that this experience is absolutely fantastic!

Who could have imagined that Apple could have created such a demand for a device that it has managed to crash iTunes, MobileMe AND (sometimes) this Discussions board? The service was pretty slow when the original iPhone came out but never this slow. I'm proud to be an early adopter and happy to experience problems such as these.

OK, it is pretty small consolation for the fact that I now have two iBricks but it gives me a strangely warm feeling to feel part of something HUGE that isn't driven by Nature, Government or, dare I say it, Microsoft!

Well done Apple! An historic moment.
