Does Alpine iDA-X001 car stereo charge 3G iPhone?

Is this setup a x100 with a 1st generation iphone? I can't seem to get mine to work via usb!

You need the high speed cable from Alpine

I have an x200 and it works very well(so far) with first gen iphone. I would say perfect but it hiccups once in a while for half a second.

Hi just wonderd if you managed to get it working...I also have a IDA-x100 and a first gen iPhone and get the standard airplane mode warning then before I get a chance to press anything an error simply stating 'This accessory is not compatible with iPhone' comes up on the phone and error 03 on the headunit...Im stuck for ideas works perfectly using a solid state drive..alpine customer support have been useless...restart the iPhone is about as best I got.

Anyone had a similer issue?

I need help, i have a ida-x100 and a ipod 5g whit 30gb, this works very fine, but repentinally it doesn't work. i don't know what's happend, i don`t do it nothing i remember thah the ipod was blocked, but when the charge finished the ipod work normal, but when i connect whit the ida-x100 display "USB DEVICE ERROR".

Any idea?????????
