Iphone sync error 13019?

Ever since I upgraded to iTunes 8.2 I've been having issues synching. It will copy photos, ringtones, etc, but at some point says that iTunes could not sync "Error 13019".
(reposting in the appropriate forum)

Searching resulted in nothing.

Now my playlists on the phone are wiped out, oddly enough the music is there, but it doesnt show up on the phone. If I connect it to iTunes, it shows the music and the playlists as being there.

I did a reinstall of iTunes and chose a restore from back up, neither has worked.

Anyone else run into this?

Dual Core G5, Mac OS X (10.4.5)

I unchecked all voice memos from Music Library and checked "Sync only checked songs and videos". Thereafter, error 13019 message did not appear.

This problem was created for me because I changed the name of a Voice Memo that got synced to my computer. To solve it, don't let your phone sync that voice memo where you changed the name. You can uncheck the box next to the Voice Memo and tell your iPhone to not sync unchecked boxes on the Summary tab in iTunes.

I unchecked that box and it worked immediately without having to redo my entire library.

Guys this fixes it:

"Resolution
The error will most commonly occur while syncing music. This issue can be resolved by following these steps:

Select the iPhone or iPod touch in iTunes under Devices.
Click the Music tab and under the Sync music option, choose Selected playlists.
Deselect the Voice Memos playlist.
Click Apply and then click Sync."

For me, it was the Voice Memo and was really based on me changing the name on iTunes.

I had the same problem, I read the Kbase article on apple.com - http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2830 - and I found I had a Voice Memo syncing as a music file. Once I removed the Voice Memo file from my library, it synced perfectly!

ya this happend to me also. i think apple should test their updates before sending them out eh? because several other updates have had similar effects.

I just had the same error and solved it by deleting the voice notes that were in my music list. I didn't have to uncheck any sync. All I did was delete the voice notes and everything worked fine afterwards.

I had the same problem. Go to recently added music or just your music list in general and check if any of them have the "!" next to them. The exclamation mark typically means you need to relocate your music files. To do this, just click on the exclamation mark icon and browse you music files and choose the correct music file so iTunes knows where the original music file is. After I did that, everything was fine.

Hi Guys,

I had this problem. It turned out to be a corrupt voice recording (recorded using the voice recorder app that came with the 3GS). Long story short, I disabled syncing of voice memos. Then I deleted the troublesome voice memo and voila!

Apple Knowledge base http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2830 covers Troubleshoots steps that resolved this error for when, seems it has to do with 3.0 voice memo duplicates. if this doesn't fix it id let applecare know for sure.

An easy way to fix the voice memo dilemma is to simply convert the voice memo to an .mp3 file, and delete the original .m4a voice memo. That worked for me.

I had this problem on my Mac after I'd added artwork to my voice memos. I guess it doesn't know what to do with that extra info. I removed the artwork and now it syncs properly.

Thanks for tip Bleuzz. This worked perfectly. I had a comment on my voice notes for organization purposes. I deleted the comments (and forewent trying anything else, read: resyncing music or restore) and the 13019 "miraculously" disappeared. Thanks again Bleuzz!!
