Iphone sync error 13019?

Ever since I upgraded to iTunes 8.2 I've been having issues synching. It will copy photos, ringtones, etc, but at some point says that iTunes could not sync "Error 13019".
(reposting in the appropriate forum)

Searching resulted in nothing.

Now my playlists on the phone are wiped out, oddly enough the music is there, but it doesnt show up on the phone. If I connect it to iTunes, it shows the music and the playlists as being there.

I did a reinstall of iTunes and chose a restore from back up, neither has worked.

Anyone else run into this?

Had the same error starting last week after accessing some OLD Voice Memos in iTunes (v. 8.2.1). Had a few minutes tonight and found the error to be specifically syncing Voice Memos.

My situation was strange because the Voice Memos were multiplying both on the iPhone and in iTunes. There were 2 voice memos, one created July 2 and the other on July 3rd. Both were less that a minute and were just tests. After listening to them using iTunes, the "last played" time caused the voice memo files in the iTunes Music folder, to modify the "Modified" date to change for the voice memos. This caused the changed voice messages to be synced back to the iPhone as NEW Voice Memos. This created 4 voice memos in the application that I had only created 2 of. The next Sync sent the 2 additional voice memos to iTunes, causing 4 voice memos in iTunes. Listen to them with iTunes again, and there is a NEW modification date, and another copy placed on the iPhone.

Deleting all the Voice Memos in the iTunes Library cleared the error condition and no longer have the problem. I consider this an unacceptable solution since deleting my Voice Memos should not be necessary to clear a Sync error caused by iTunes and the Voice Memos syncing problems.

This is not a user problem, and should be addressed by Apple.

I got error 13019 as well. I found this error occurred after running a third party program called Tune-Up (which cleans mislabeled music and finds missing cover art). The program works, but it seems to leave something behind that causes a hiccup within Itunes.

If I remove the music from the sync it fixes the problem. But then I have no music. When I include the music again the error re-appears. No fix for this yet.

Un checking the "sync Music" on the music tab allowing it to sync the iphone and then re checking the "sync music" on the music tab did it for me. No need to delete songs play lists etc.

I also realized the reason for the Error: If I change the name of any song in the play list causes this error. Was able to effectively create the situation twice.

*Here is a guide to properly rename a Voice Memo:*

Right click the VM and select Get Info as usual.
In the Info tab, change the fields as appropriate.
In the Options tab, change Voice Memo to something else.
Save changes.
Remove the VM from the Voice Memos playlist.
Delete the VM on the iPhone!

This will allow you to solve 13019 without disabling sync of anything.

I had the same issue. This is what I did to resolve after unchecking and checking the sync music option didn't work. Under the music tab, at the bottom is a box to sync voice memos. Uncheck the box, apply, and everything should work. I assume Apple will address this issue in the next update. I had tried almost everything. Unsyncing/syncing music, videos, et all. Hopefully this solves everyone's issues.

It seems there may be more than one cause. For me, it was the Voice Memos with Comments. Keep in mind that it is sync'ing iTunes with the iPhone VM app, not the iPod. This 3-way sync is what seems to be the problem.

I think the previous poster had a more elegant solution by unchecking the Voice Memo flag, but what definitely stopped it for me was duplicating the VM's as an AAC file & deleting the originals. I tried many other things, one at a time. And this is what cleared the error.
