This happened to me too. After trying countless ways to fix it, I decided to delete my recent voice memos and sync normally with everything checked. After that, it worked!!

I ran into this error after I renamed some of my voice memos from within my library on my computer. Deleting the voice memos that I changed (both in my library and on my device) fixed the problem. The names of the files that I changed never updated on the device, and my guess is this name mis-match caused the syncing problem. I left my other voice memos alone and haven't seen this bug since, so you shouldn't have to delete all you memos.

I tried doing what everyone else said by unchecking my music sync and my video sync and it didn't work, and I was about to lose hope until I read your comment; deleting the voice notes off my iPod did the trick. THANK YOU. 😁

Nothing, including removing the voice notes, has worked for me.
