Retraction - sorry all.
I was reading too fast - the solution requires that the voice memo's be removed FROM THE DEVICE, not from I Tunes - you all probably said that but it took me a while to realize that is what is required - Right- that works!
Thank you soooo much!!! I finally got it fixed after almost 2 weeks of trying - you're a lifesaver! 😝
man i diselect the movie it worked for me, do one thing if still error diselect one by one to know whick one making error, then hopefuly your error will be solved. Good luck.
The error will most commonly occur while syncing music. This issue can be resolved by following these steps:
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, check the device and the iTunes library for duplicate voice memos. If you find any duplicate voice memos, delete the duplicates and then sync.If those steps do not resolve the issue, then follow these steps:
Hi guys,
I tried most of the advice provided, but still failed.
It took me about 1 hour, before I saw this solution provided by Apple, which is more systematic and clear for most users. So I decided to post it here to help users who need a detailed procedure =]
Just a note about this.
I (obviously) ran into the same issue with the 13019 sync error.
After trying everything multiple times, I ran across the "remove duplicate voice memos from the device" suggestion.
THAT did the trick, and all is well now.
It was the voice memos for me -- I had to delete them off my phone as well.... I suspect that it might have been the one I renamed..... 0_o
thanks - the uncheck > sync > check worked perfectly. Cheers, saved a lot of time!
My wife has had this error on her iPhone for quite some time. I've fixed it a couple of times using the tip in this thread, but the duplicate voice memos keep re-occurring. Is there a way to prevent this problem in the first place?
Jeremy's suggestion worked for me. All the post of others strengthen my approach to fix this problem. Here is the solution -

Thanks for the reply. As I said in my post, I have used that technique to fix the problem before - the problem is that it keeps recurring! This is the 4th or 5th time this has happened. Does anyone know what leads to the problem in the first place?
Thank you so much. It worked. Finally I have my ipod back!
are you supposed to erease and sync? o.o"
Thanks - this worked!
Just a simple matter of duplicate music files in the library somehow prevented the ipod from syncing.
