Im still getting the error 13019 even though i have unchecked the 'include voice memos' box. I have an Ipod Touch 2nd Gen and cant use voice memos anyways so i dont have any on my ipod to sync in the first place. Any idea as to how to fix the error?
This actually worked great!!! Solved the problem right away. Except some of my songs were located on my corrupted external hard drive. So I wasn't able to retrieve them!!! But that what happens when you buy cheap external hard drives.
This fix worked perfectly for me. Thank you! I wish I'd known that all I had to do was go to the Music tab, de-select the Voice Memo option and sync my iPhone.
By the way, the other fix that some people mentioned (de-selecting Music, syncing, and then re-selecting music again) did NOT work for me. I spent over an hour removing my music from my 32GB iPhone 3GS and then trying to add my music back. At the end of all that, I was left with NO music on my iPhone and still had the 13019 error message.
But de-selecting Voice Memo and syncing worked like a charm!! Thanks again!!
thxxx soooo much uniq0 it worked!!!! seems like apple has been having problems with itunes 8.2.1.6 or whatever the newest one is cause ive pretty much had problems with it wanting to never sync since i downloaded it yesterday 🙂 o well as long as it works now im good thx again.
I had the exact problem. I was extremely angry when this happened and was afraid I had screwed up my iPod Touch (2G, 16gig) for good! Earlier, before I synced, I had a voice memo on my computer. I tried to rename it or something and then synced my iPod. If this was the case, go on to your iPod and delete the specific voice memo you edited. Then, while your iPod is still connected to your computer, go in to your Music. It will say something like "Updating Library" and then everything will be fixed. It worked for me...
I hope this helps-I got this error (13019) immediately after attaching artwork to one of my voice memos. Once I removed the offending artwork my Touch synced fine.
this happened to me again.
how i fixed it was i bought a new usb cord. That was the entire problem. So, if the unsyncing and resyncing isn't working for you, buy a new usb cord 😀
I just recently change computers, and purchase songs and authorized machine was causing the 13019 error. I think it has to do with songs permissions... just a guess.
I just had this error too and while looking for an answer I noticed that the option "automatically fill free space with songs" was checked. I am quite sure that I didn't select that (???) but unchecking that option did the trick for me. Maybe itunes has conflicting info on space left on the device? That would explain the delete-and-sync procedure that also seems to work.
